The NordicTrack Commercial 1750 Treadmill has long been a favourite, and the 2024 model continues the legacy. While the '23 and '22 versions look almost identical, this model introduces a few notable improvements.

NordicTrack decided to upgrade the motor from 3.0 CHP to 3.5 CHP and also slightly increased the diameter of the precision-balanced rollers to provide extra grip for this added power.

There is a 14” HD touchscreen that provides a crisp picture and can be tilted and swivelled. It is designed to be used with iFit so you are not limited to just running. You can rotate the screen and follow along to other classes such as strength training, yoga and even cooking classes!

Along the side of the console there are convenient quick-press buttons that allow for quick adjustments, and the built-in autobreeze fan keeps you cool.

For runners, the 51cm x 152cm running belt provides plenty of room to stretch your legs. Plus there is an auto incline to a maximum of 12% and even declines to -3%.

When using iFit your treadmill can automatically adjust the incline to match the virtual terrain or personal trainer instructions.

Aesthetically, the new Z Frame design is easy on the eye and the running deck lines up nicely with the frame when in the folded position.

However, it is worth noting that it’s exclusively compatible with iFit. That said, iFit is one of the top interactive fitness apps on the market. And, if you choose to cancel your subscription, the 1750 still offers a range of preset workouts.

Pros

  • Upgraded Motor to 3.5 CHP and Rollers
  • Modern Z Frame design.
  • 14” HD touchscreen that can be tilted and swivelled.
  • iFit compatibility for extra workout options.
  • Long running belt.

Cons

  • In terms of interactive apps, it is only compatible with iFit.

So if you are not great at DIY you won't have to worry too much. The most awkward part is getting rid of the box.

The console is straightforward with a clear LED display that provides all the details about your workout and has a built-in tablet holder to keep you entertained as you workout.

It comes with a top speed of 12kmh which is a brisk jog that will get you burning calories. There are also some quick speed buttons so you can quickly get to the speed you want.

Once you have finished your workout, the collapsible handrail lets you store the treadmill upright and can easily be wheeled away saving space.

CitySports are also known for their under desk treadmills, which are similar to this model but without the hand rail, so are useable with standing desks.

While it is hard to say this "best" machine on our list, it will be the best for a lot of people who want to jog/ walk and be able to put the machine away when being used.

The main issue we saw pop up a couple of times from one batch was a software issue where the console wouldn't update. However, the issue was easily fixable remotely and seems to have been resolved.

If you aim to secure a hard-wearing treadmill that won't break the bank, especially when compared to the pricier NordicTrack counterparts, then the Pro 9000 might just be your perfect match.

It is also worth noting, that ProForm and NordicTrack are both owned by the same parent company and often come from the same factory so the quality is almost the same.

  • Incline/Decline of -3% to 12%.
  • 21.5” HD touchscreen.
  • Large Running Deck
  • iFit compatible

-6% to 40%
Motor Size
4.25 CHP
Foldable

iFit Compatible

First things first, the NordicTrack X32i, undeniably, isn't cheap. But once you dive into its features, it is easy to see why it comes with a high price tag.

For starters, it has the steepest incline/ decline we have seen at a staggering 40% incline and -6% decline.

On top of this, it comes with a gigantic 32” HD touchscreen, which, coupled with iFit, creates an immersive and intense workout experience.

Understandably, having such a steep incline requires a powerful motor and the X32i comes with a commercial grade 4.25 CHP motor. Plus, you need an extra long running deck to accommodate this incline so NordicTrack has included a 165cm long deck.

But there are a few downsides to a machine like this. Firstly, it isn't foldable and will need quite a large space dedicated to it. If you are looking for specifically foldable treadmills then check our best folding treadmills guide.

Secondly, when delivered you will want to make sure it is a room of choice delivery as the box is VERY big and heavy weighing 209kg when in the box.

But overall, the X32i offers an unparalleled running experience. While its price and size may limit its audience, those with room and budget will be able to push themselves to the limit.

An alternative, slightly cheaper option is the step down from the X32i in the form of the X22i. The main difference is screen size which is worth considering.

Pros

  • 40% incline and a -6% decline.
  • Large 32” HD touchscreen creates an immersive workout experience.
  • Extra-long 165cm running belt.

Cons

Firstly, JLL is a UK-based brand that has a great reputation for its reliable customer service and good quality home treadmills. We also like to support UK businesses whenever possible.

The S300 is a no-frills treadmill that does the basics well.

Powered by a 2.5CHP motor, it can comfortably reach speeds of 16 kph and has a power incline to 12% split into 20 adjustable levels. While the top speed is a little lower than the models we have seen so far, this is a good speed for treadmills in this price bracket.

With the lower top speed, the S300 also has a slightly shorter running deck at 122cm. So if you are looking to do sprints, you might need to look at some of the slightly higher-budget models.

There is a 5-inch blue backlit display that is easy to read but not the most attractive display to look at, but it tracks your workout details and comes with 15 workout programs.

To help keep long-running sessions entertaining, there's a media shelf built into the console tray which can be used to hold your tablet and watch a show of your choice.

When you're done, fold it up and roll it away with its transport wheels. For its price, the JLL S300 is great value for money and capable of delivering a good running workout.

Then you can use the handle at the rear of the machine along with the transport wheels to move the treadmill. However, the machine is still quite heavy at 71kg total, although most of the weight is positioned over the transport wheels and not on the handle.

This compact design is perfect if you are short on space, but it does mean the components have to be smaller and as a result, the motor is quite small at 1.75hp but still manages to reach a maximum speed of 19kph.
